How it works

Instagram DMs — weeks 1 to 4
Sends 4 progressively firmer DMs from your Instagram account, one per week. Starts warm, ends pointed. You choose the tone.

Email escalation — weeks 5 to 7
Switches to email if Instagram is ignored. 3 more attempts, weekly. Sent via Brevo — requires a free account.

Installation
Open the DMG — double-click
WRUGP.dmg and drag the app to your Applications folder.Bypass the security warning — right-click the app in Applications → Open → click "Open" in the dialog. You only need to do this once. (We're not in the App Store — it costs $99/year and this app is free.)
Connect your Instagram — enter your username and password. The app opens a browser to log in. Your credentials are encrypted on your Mac using AES-128 — they never leave your machine.
Add a client — their Instagram handle, email (optional for Instagram-only mode), amount owed, and tone preference. Hit Unleash.
Keep the app open — it needs to be running to send messages. Open it in the morning, leave it in the dock.
What you'll need
Instagram account
Your own account. The app sends DMs as you.
Brevo account
Free. Required only for email escalation. Create one at brevo.com, generate an API key under SMTP & API → API Keys, and authorize your IP under Security → Authorized IPs.
Client's Instagram
Their handle. They need to accept DMs from non-followers, or already follow you.
Client's email
Optional for Instagram-only mode. Required if you want email escalation.
A note on what this is
This app is a joke. A very real, very functional joke — but a joke. It's a metaphor for the absurd administrative theatre freelancers perform just to get paid for work they already did. The irony is the point. Please don't actually harass anyone. Or do. We're not your mom. The creator accepts no legal responsibility for whatever unhinged payment reminder you send at 2am.
